How much will freight cost?

Please note a flat Australia-wide shipping fee is not possible because the pet doors/adapters are over 1.2m long and thus incur manual handling and over-size item fees in addition to the actual freight charges and domestic delivery surcharges and fuel levy surcharges, etc. Most couriers including Australia Post can not be used due to the over 1.2m issue. 

So, in order to streamline checkout for most, there are a few common zones to choose from at checkout that cover most of the highly populated areas along the east coast and Perth metro. 

If you live in more rural areas then please select the first option for $1. We will then email you an invoice based on our cost to your address depending on the courier used. 

If you prefer, you can email modpetdoors@gmail.com before ordering for a freight quote. 

Unfortunately, we have to use multiple couriers depending on location and warehouse origin so it is not possible to use an accurate freight calculator at checkout. The zone model is the best system we can come up with thus far to cover most of the populated areas.

 
 
Can I pick up?
 
Yes! You can PICK UP from either Mooloolaba (Sunshine Coast, QLD) or from Woodville North in Adelaide. If you want to pick up, please email what you want or call 0431 908 929 to organise it.
  
 
Do all items get delivered on the same day?
The small box with the locks often arrives before the long oversize pet door/adapter boxes. You can use the tracking number on the small lock box to track the door via toll ipec/fastway/tfmxpress/APD track and trace or just wait a little longer for the pet door/adapter to arrive. The small box often goes via air due to the small size and thus can arrive faster.

 

 IMPORTANT: 

1. All deliveries are 'Authority To Leave': No signature required so you don't have to be home.

2. Front door MUST be easily accessible by courier. Secure apartments incur re-delivery charges if courier can't access the door (even if you say you are home, the courier may not call/ring and this still incurs re-delivery charges). 

2. PO BOX not viable. Actual address is needed.

3. Deliveries are via Road Express Monday-Friday. 

4. Regional and Remote Area Delivery fees apply- get a quote before you order if you prefer.

5. Note we are not liable if your door is stolen after delivery- this hasn't happened yet! :)

 

  

How long will it take to be despatched?  

We aim to despatch doors within 1 business day.
