ONE extension kit extends the standard pet door from 211cm to 228-240cm.

TWO kits extend the pet door range to 2.7m.  

Please NOTE handy skills and tools (e.g., drill-driver, hack saw blade, pliers) are required to fit the extension kits to the pet door because the kit involves screwing additional top panels on top of the existing top panel that slides up and down at the top of the pet door. The hack saw blade and pliers are needed to make a simple notch inside the top panels in order for the screen door adapter to insert into the side of the extra top panels. Skill is needed to screw the panels together nice and flat and straight- you want a rectangle at the top of the pet door not a banana shape from screwing the top panels together crooked :)

COLOUR OPTIONS until April-May 2026---- we only have Large Primrose extension kits left in stock until April-May. so if you want another colour/size, the handyman would need to spray the kit either Satin Black or Pearl White with a touch up can and if needed trim 50mm off the width of the large panels if a medium size is needed. This also obviously requires handy skills and tools etc to do. NOTE: Grinder with a 1mm cutting disc works best to trim panels or get a local window manufacturer to cut it for you.  

An extra section of screen door adapter and weather seal is included in the kit. The short piece of adapter included in the kit goes at the BOTTOM of the pet door when installing the screen door adapter.  This will also need to be sprayed if you are selecting a different colour kit to match your pet door colour.

Freight:

The kits are $85 ONLY when ordered WITH a pet door. If you do NOT order with a pet door, then courier and warehouse/order fee invoice will be emailed to you after the order is in the system - usually around $30 for common zone locations (If an item goes out on its own, then there are order and courier fees for that item, this is covered when ordered at the same time/order as a pet door package but not when it is ordered on its own).
